Tuesday 3rd December: Winslow Leach assaults a guard and escapes from Sing Sing. After vandalizing Death Records, Leach is shot by a security guard. Fleeing police he leaps into the East River. His body is not recovered. (New York City - Phantom of the Paradise)

Friday 20th December: John Grey and Nate Walker attend Ben Anderson's barbecue. Ben gets a phone call from Milton saying that the Apollo 18 mission was on. (Apollo 18)

Wednesday 25th December: Grey remains in orbit aboard the Freedom Command module while Walker and Anderson land on the moon in the lunar module Liberty. While planting one of the detectors, the pair take moon rock samples. After returning to Liberty, the pair hear noises outside and a camera captures a small rock moving nearby. Houston claims the noises are interference from the ICBM detectors. Anderson finds a rock sample on the floor of Liberty despite having secured the samples. During further lunar exploration they discover footprints that lead them to a bloodstained, functioning Soviet LK lander, and a dead cosmonaut in a nearby crater. Walker queries Houston about the Soviet presence but is told only to continue with the mission. (Apollo 18)

Thursday 26th December: Walker is infected by aliens and becomes increasingly paranoid. The aliens breach his helmet, killing him. DoD refuses to rescue Anderson because he is infected. Grey attempts to rescue him, but rocks within Liberty reveal themselves to be aliens, which infect Anderson and cause him to crash Liberty into Freedom. (Apollo 18)
