Saturday 5th March: $3,000 is found missing from the Plain View Bank. The banker's son, Joe Abercrombie Jr., frames one of the clerks, Lee Austen. Austen is convicted on Abercrombie's testimony and spends three years in prison. (Plainview, Kentucky)
